Journeys into the Raven's
Eye
"I lay my body down on slick
rock and it grabs me - pulling me into the dream. On slick
rock I can doze as I gaze at ravens high overhead and float
with the breeze through the cottonwoods. I can disappear
in turquoise sky and flatten into warm sunshine."

"My eyes get heavy, here, draped over the rounded curves of sandstone walls and
I am asked to forget the doing self and the monkey mind. Let go, she whispers
- trust...trust the journey into nowhere and back again. Follow me into the
history of time and find out what stillness really feels like. Let your eyes
close and drift."
The trips we
call Journeys Into the Raven’s Eye are explorations for
women only. All of the journeys we lead…into and out of
wild places, with questions and vision, serve as an opening for
us to come back to ourselves and to our connection with the Earth
Mother. These experiences offer a time of slowing down and settling
into ourselves as a way to feel our truth, our hearts and our
knowing in a more potent and dynamic way. So often the magic
of gathering women together engenders it's own particularly beautiful
and needed healing.
It has been our experience that when
women spend time together, in communion and sharing, looking
and simply living, that a certain kind of sweet magic is birthed
that teaches and blesses all that it touches. We invite you to
give yourself the gift of this quality time....for you, for the
collective of women, for your loved ones and for the planet.

This is a time of great change when
we must gather together to unravel and reclaim the mysteries
of the feminine and of balance, through the Earth Mother's wisdom,
and through listening to, and sharing our own innate knowing.
In our gathering together in natural places of beauty, we have
the opportunity to give back so much to the Earth, simply through
our prayers and gratitude, and living softly and respectfully
on her belly.
Most of the wilderness journeys we lead,
including the vision quests are in the magical desert lands of
N. Arizona and S. Utah. The secret red rock canyons of these
lands hold a mystery and spirit of a people long passed, but
not forgotten. These softly curved and rounded, womb-like canyons
cut deeply into the Colorado Plateau, creating deep winding mazes
that beckon the body to follow, and the spirit to imagery. The
silent subtle hues of this desert magic stirs the ancientness
in our own bones and calls our souls to speak. There is an unspeakable
softness in the days and nights of this land.
"It is in the wilderness where a woman will
find her own unique version of feminine soul. It is in the
wilderness where she will find an integrity and 'at-home-ness'
which knows, from the inside out, what femininity is in general,
and what her expression of that is in particular." L.R. Keck,
