The Way of Council and Mirroring with Animas Valley Institute,
In Albion Basin, near Salt Lake City, Utah

Antelope Island image

Combining two of the most essential and widely applicable Soulcraft practices, this intensive is designed for all who are seeking greater human intimacy, an opening of the heart, the ability to see others more deeply, and to develop depth, warmth, and closeness in any group--from families to classrooms to therapy groups.

THE WAY OF COUNCIL empowers people to gather together, speak from their hearts, and listen intently in witness to truth, not only by making it safe to do so, but also by creating a psychosocial structure that reveals people¹s own depths to themselves as well as to others.

Ann: There is an art to hearing a story as well as telling one. Mirroring is a collection of skills employed in receiving, embracing, and honoring people's stories. In mirroring, we neither project nor interpret, but rather celebrate the magic of the story and the gifts of the One Who Bears the Tale. We help the storyteller glean-harvest-reap the jewels, both the radiant ones and the dark ones.
